What aspects of your cultural heritage are you most proud of or interested in?

A place called home.

Travelling to different lands through books may not be the same as physically being present in those places . I read about a part of west Africa with green lands and diverse cultures, rich in oil and exports.

I read about the religion of most of their people and its similarities to some foreign traditional religion .

The stories I read beguiled me , I was entranced by the writer’s description of these people.

Does there exist a place where oil flow in the land so abundantly and the people beautiful in their diversities??

I read more about these people but at a point I was dismayed. Though these people had all these richness it seemed that only foreigners appreciated it and utilized their resources.

But like a people woken from slumber, they worked and retook what was theirs.

Whether they utilized it well or not, I read no further.

I loved their vigor and creativity, an attribute that have remained and been shown in different historics.
